COMMITMENT FORM

Stage Right Theater Company is  thrilled  to have you interested in becoming a member. Before  becoming a member we want you to have a thorough understanding of  what commitments are essential and decide if that fits into your schedule.  Let me start by saying, we cannot even begin to work on a play until we have a firm  commitment from the cast.  The director works on picking a play with a cast list that will fit the needs of the students who have committed to being in the play.  If a student, then, shows up occasionally, doesn’t memorize their lines, or decides to skip dress rehearsals or the play all together, it is devastating to the rest of the cast and could cause the play to be canceled.  We want to avoid that trauma at all costs. So please, take this list of commitments very seriously for the sake of the students and the director. As you know, we want to know any date conflicts you have at the very beginning and we work hard to arrange practices and play dates around these if at all possible, so all students can be a part of the semester. We are so excited to see what God does in the lives of these students this year.

Please initial next to the commitment.

_____ (student) I will memorize my lines and blocking assignments

_____(parent) I will encourage, help, and make sure my child is memorizing their assignments.

_____(student) I will attend all  Monday  practices and, if sick, call and inform the director.

_____(parent) I will make sure my child attends all Monday practices and inform the director if my child is sick. (this is with the exception of approved absences)

_____(student) I will treat other members with a Christ-like spirit at all times   ie. ,treat  others as I would want to be treated.

_____(student) I will attend the retreat, unless I have a previously approved absence.

_____(parent) My child will attend the retreat, unless   they have a previously approved absence.

_____(student) I will be available for the play date.

_____(parent) My child will be available for the play date.

_____(parent) I will pay my  child’s tuition and fees on time.

_____((parent) As part of DRAMA MAMAS) I will volunteer  for small duties to help, such as tickets, meals etc. 

_____(student) I will HAVE FUN growing in the Lord with this wonderful group of Christian kids.

_____(parents)I will HAVE FUN watching my child growing in the Lord with this wonderful group of Christian  kids.
